Many application forms give you a single upload slot for all supporting documents. If your marksheets, certificates and ID proof are separate PDFs, you need to combine them first. This tool merges up to 50 PDF files into one in the order you set, keeps every page exactly as it was, and does it all on your device, which keeps personal documents private.
When do you need to combine PDF files?
Uploading one combined file is also easier on a patchy 4G connection: one upload, one progress bar, and one chance to fail instead of five.
- A university admission or scholarship portal allows one PDF for all certificates.
- A job application asks for your resume, degree and experience letters as a single attachment.
- Bank KYC or loan paperwork where address proof, ID and income proof must go together.
- Keeping all pages of a form that you scanned in parts as one clean document.
How to order documents the way reviewers expect
Put the documents in the sequence the form lists them. If it says nothing, a safe order is: application or cover page, ID proof, educational certificates from the highest qualification down, then experience or other supporting documents.
Reviewers often check dozens of applications in a sitting, so a predictable order helps yours get processed without queries.
Name each file clearly before you start, like 01-id-proof.pdf and 02-10th-marksheet.pdf, so the order is easy to check in the list. Mixing page sizes is fine, but an A4 scan next to a tiny receipt can look odd to a reviewer.
Tips and common mistakes
- Check the total against the limit before merging: five 300 KB scans already make a file of about 1.5 MB.
- The merged file is roughly the sum of all inputs. If it crosses the portal limit, compress it afterwards with Compress PDF.
- Combining photos? Convert them with JPG to PDF first, then merge.
- Remove unwanted pages before merging with Split PDF, so the final file has only what is asked for.
- Fix sideways pages with Rotate PDF; rotation is lossless and does not reduce quality.
- Open the merged PDF once before uploading to confirm every page is there and in order.
Private merging, right in your browser
The files are read and joined on your own phone or computer. Pages are copied as they are, without re-compressing, so text and scans look exactly like the originals.
