IBPS asks for four uploads, not two — photo, signature, left thumb impression and a handwritten declaration — and each has exact pixel dimensions and a KB range. This page is preset to all four from the CRP PO/MT-XVI notification, so you can do them one after another without guessing. The tool works on your phone and never uploads your images.
The four IBPS uploads, in order
Prepare all four on paper first, photograph them in daylight, then run them through the tool one by one. Signature and thumb files often come out below their minimum KB; the tool pads them safely without changing the image.
- Photo — 200 × 230 px, 20–50 KB, recent colour photo on a light background.
- Signature — 140 × 60 px, 10–20 KB, black ink, not in capitals.
- Left thumb impression — 240 × 240 px, 20–50 KB, black or blue ink on white paper.
- Handwritten declaration — 800 × 400 px, 50–100 KB, in English, in your own handwriting.
The handwritten declaration text
Write this in English, in your own handwriting, with black ink on white paper — not in capital letters: "I, ______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required."
Write your name in the blank. Keep the lines straight and the writing large enough to read once it's resized to 800 × 400 px. A typed declaration, or one written by someone else, is not accepted.
Common reasons IBPS uploads get rejected
- Signature in CAPITAL letters, or in blue ink when black is required.
- Declaration written in capitals, in Hindi, or typed.
- Thumb impression smudged into a blob — use a thin, even coat of ink and press once on clean paper.
- Photo with a cap, hat or dark glasses (religious headwear is allowed if the face is visible).
- A signature that won't match what you sign on the call letter and attendance sheet.
- Files uploaded in the wrong field — a signature in the photo box.
Same sizes for other IBPS exams?
Other IBPS recruitments publish their own notifications, so check the annexure of the one you are applying for. But always check the annexure of each notification before you upload, because IBPS can change dimensions or KB ranges between cycles. The live photo captured by webcam or mobile during the form is separate from the uploaded photo.
